Lebaran 2013 Family Trip to Russia & Scandinavia

It has been quite a while since the last time we had a complete family trip.

I took approximately 400 pictures in each city, but I'll start with our family pictures taken in the first city we visited: Moscow, Russia. We were picked up at the airport and came here straight away, so we didn't get chance to change clothes. Luckily, we don't look too rural.

This was the second day in Moscow, Russia. Russia is the biggest country in the world, has a total of eleven time zones, stretching from the very east to the very west. In this huge country, there are many immigrants from the former republics, such as Uzbekistan. They usually fill the lower-paid jobs like cleaning service.

Subway is the main mean of transportation in Moscow, Russia. Our guide said that each metro station has a unique design, each one is one of a kind. There are total of 278 metro stations in the city, some of them are new, but most of them were built in Lenin era.
As we stopped by some of the metro stations, we could see stunning interior design of the stations, which made us feel like being in an underground palace.

On the picture below, we were riding on the longest escalator of metro station.

Below are pictures taken in St. Petersburg, Russia. I like this city more than Moscow.
